The Epsilon Squad had been friends since they met at their first day at the jade academy. The day after graduating the academy, all four of them decided to enlist together to earn their citizenship. In the Arcadian Empire, everyone is born a civilian until they earn their citizenship by enlisting in the military and serving for one term of active duty. Once you become a citizen, you gain access to such rights as owning firearms, voting, healthcare and reduced taxes & interest rates. Each of them realized that this would probably be the last time they will see each other in person until their term was over, they promised each other they could stay in contact and meet up after their service was over. After twelve weeks of test assessment & evaluation training, Stella was selected for special ops, an elite team that would crew the new prototype Epsilon-Class starship. Stella travelled to the spaceport to meet her new squad members that she would be spending the next year living with in the quarters of the Epsilon. Much to her surprise, her squad were all her academy friends that she said goodbye to in the recruitment hall. The overwhelming odds that out of the millions of new recruits they would stay united in this new journey of their lives. The quartet erupted in cheers and celebration over this fantastic discovery. They are now the Epsilon Squad.

Kimberly Thorne is the best friend and the tomboy of the group, serving as the glue that holds their friendship together. She is affectionate and likes to express her feelings. She sometimes acts childish compared to the other three. She enjoys everyone being together and having a good time. She likes cooking and parties. She took over cooking duties on the Epsilon because she claims robots can never cook food right. She grew up in a family of salvagers that collected parts from discarded satellites and old starships. Selling scrap is what helped pay for her academy expenses. Kimberly is the heavy weapons, demolitionist and engineer of the squad. She uses anti-armor missiles, sets explosives charges and has a proficiency for repairing vehicles. She wears the heaviest armor to protect her from her own explosives and blast recoil.

Olivia Diaz is the femme fatale of the group. She is not only athletic and strong, but also seductive and mysterious. She likes to hide her true feelings from others, which makes her seem detached from sentiment, but she lets her guard down when she is alone with her friends. She is a great listener, which is an unrated talent, and has remarkable memory when it comes to remembering details of her friends. Olivia likes shopping, fashion and the more fancier things of life. She grew up in a wealthy family and only by a strange series of events did she end up at the same academy as Stella. After meeting her friends, she refused to transfer to a more prestigious school. She spends more time relaxing and pampering herself in her free time then her friends. Olivia is the sniper, infiltrator and hacker of the squad. She uses long range sniper rifles, personal cloaking fields and has proficiency hacking into enemy networks and disabling systems. She wears the lightest armor for mobility and stealth. She is an amazing escape artist and has talent at seduction which allows her to gather intel from unsuspecting targets.

Stella Nova is very straightforward and confident. She is reliable and hard-working, she true to her own values and headstrong about doing things on her own. Stella is arguably the most flippant and carefree member of her team, frequently making sarcastic comments and jokes even in the heat of battle and often taking combat and hostile situations lightly. Stella is very sociable and extroverted, even in unfamiliar situations. While normally kind and considerate, Stella lacks patience with aggressive or rude behavior and has no hesitation in returning it in kind. Though she is careful to keep it under control, it can get the better of her sometimes and it often makes a bad situation worse. Despite this, Stella is deceptively mature and extremely nurturing. Stella pushes her team into being more outgoing and also worries a great deal about them while in battle. Stella likes individual sports, physical challenges, the outdoors and fun with her friends. She grew up in a farming community where she learned the value of hard work, her family barely saved up enough to afford to spend her to the academy. Stella is the leader, pilot and gunner of the squad. She uses assault rifles, pistols and grenades. She wears moderate armor. She takes point on most missions. Her bravery has saved her team time and again.

Hana Suzuki is the intellectual of the group; she acts as a rational logical thinker in getting through the problems they encounter on their missions. She can be painfully honest, but is shy around strangers. She has an overwhelming fear of hurting the people she cares about which makes her timid around her friends. She will intentionally lose games in fear of her friends hating her for winning. She is probably the most hard working member of squad because she is scared of disappointing her friends and family. Her friends are very protective of her. She likes reading, studying and animals. Hana grew up in a very demanding household, both her parents are doctors and they expect the same thing from her. While also attending the academy, she had private tutors. Hana is the medic, scientist and technician of the squad. She uses a biotic pistol, blast barrier, med kits, and omni-scanner. She wears a lot of armor to protect her equipment. She plays support on the battlefield, provides cover for her team with her shield and provides analyses on targets.
