I know $5 or more for a loaf of bread. At least I've found some good stuff - regular brand items that I can eat. Did finally find gluten free egg rolls that weren't too badly priced. I'm just glad I learned to cook and my roomie has family that have celiac and he knows how to cook for them
Years ago when I was staff on an army training course we learned the officer building got boxes of donuts every morning. So, we began to creatively acquire a box through an indistinct logistics channel. My turn? I just walked in, picked up and walked out. No big scheme, no convoluted plan, didn't even hide it.
Got caught walking away when the course Warrant drove by, but he was laughing his ass off. He didn't care we were stealing the officer's yummies.
