Ducky [The Land Before Time] ''Ducky in Diapers!'' (Reupl...
Yet another drawing I wanted to upload, this time it's a character from the famous, long running 1988 film series ''The Land Before Time'' by Don Bluth and Steven Spielberg.
This piece shows the optimistic and happy character Ducky, sitting on the ground, smiling like she always does, and in this case, wearing a diaper. It's supposed to represent the target audience of this film series being kids, but I didn't wanna put a too big emphasis on that. It's just a small thing I drew for variety sake. You might know me for my Pokémon drawing collection, but I decided to go in another direction for this one, again, just for the sake of having a different underlying theme, being The Land Before Time. It might also be a picture I did out of secret joy of finding my two lost GBA games back, one of which being The Land Before Time for GBA. But that's just a guess. Anyway, it's a... QUITE successful recreation of Ducky overall. I only wish I did the body proportions a bit better.
- This is a redo of a picture that I drew a couple months ago. It shows up in my Gallery, but it wouldn't be accessible when clicked on. I am sure this reupload will fix that.

Ooh! I do love to see more Ducky! Especially Ducky showing just how childish and innocent she is by wearing a diaper.
Diapers are one of the most identifiable markers of innocence, simplicity, and kindness. Those still in diapers, typically, have not yet had to experience the traumas of the world wherein you are negatively judged for being and/or doing certain things. As I think of it, training pants are the first to start the negative separation of males and females by implying something is exclusive to one gender despite it being something that, in a fair universe, that can be appreciated by anybody.
Ducky always made me happy and I really like how she has developed in the movies and cartoon series. She also has great dynamics with Petrie. Petrie and Ducky really well represent kindness and understanding as, quite often, they are a respective support system when Littlefoot and Cera are duking it out for who is alpha in the group.

Sorry it took so long to check this out. It's been a crazy last few weeks and I've fallen behind on posts and comments to take care of RL stuff.
I shall have to +Watch you so I can keep up with what you share. Your descriptions bring the images to life and, truly, it takes talent to make art be viewable beyond what the eye can see.

Very much thank you! I love your new description of the picture despite being an older uploaded picture, and I can very well relate with your newly added explanation of no matter who you are or how old you are, being childish isn't a negative thing! I wish my parents would understand that, TBH.
You are not the only one who feels the way you do. What is unfortunate is how very important people in your life will not allow you to better understand how and why you have the feelings that you do.

I joined FA in the hopes of meeting people who I first saw on DA that talked of their struggles with liking diapers and finding diapered cartoon animals cute. It was astounding how quickly I was able to befriend those I sought. They have all helped me to make sense of what, for years, made absolutely no sense at all.
So, for you, being here is the first step in knowing you 'can' find acceptance with who, what, and why you are. It is a long process, but the arts and talking with others helps a lot.

I spent a long time feeling afraid of myself due to the stereotypes, stigmas, and reactions of people close to me IRL. I now do not have those concerns, but only as a result of coming to terms with myself and knowing I am, as you will be, in charge of your interests over your interests holding power over you.
Truly, once you narrow down what it is about diapers and diapered cartoon animals that makes you feel happy, you can shed a lot of self-doubt and loathing. Just know it will take time and, more importantly, time will help those close to you to understand that you are not a deviant. You are just someone who has interests, which you never asked to have, that you look to make sense of and use for self-soothing over being misjudged as a terrible person.
Stay the cute and cuddly path and know that, as you find the right inspiration through friends and art, you will become able to control and use this aspect of yourself for good over the perceived evil that society tends to make it out to be. :)
