(Chester and Geoff)
The very next day, Chester sadly awoke to an unfortunately familiar feeling w/ a groan. His mom was back, yet again. This time, though, it felt oddly... different? Reluctantly, still feeling depressed, Chester shook Geoff awake (he was nuzzled into Chester's gooey belly).
"G?" Chester asked.
Geoff grumbled awake.
"Ugh, I'm up, I- wait, did you just call me G?"
"Yeah, why?" Chester asked.
"Please, don't ever call me that again," Geoff said, "The guy writing this has that as a nickname, and I don't think that either he or anyone calls him that would appreciate you calling me that."
Chester got a very confused look at that.
"I'm sorry, but what does-?" Chester began.
Suddenly, Geoff's phone rang.
"Damn, I've gotta take this."
Geoff turned away and held the phone up. Chester gave a weird look at this.
"Yes?" Geoff asked.
"Eddie? Oh, thank God you answered!" Lola shouted on the other side.
"What happened? What's wrong?" Geoff asked seriously.
"I'm not exactly sure what's going on, but we have a situation over here! There's this weird space of darkness in the middle of the street. Patrick and I are here, trying to make sense of this fucking thing, and we can feel some really powerful and creepy energy coming from it! Can you please get over here?"
"Ok, where are you right now?" Geoff asked.
"Y'know the construction zone? It's around that area," Lola explained.
Geoff hung up.
"What's going on?" Chester asked.
"There's this strange, dark space in the city. I'm guessing you know who is causing it," Geoff explained.
Chester pursed his connected lips but stayed quiet. Geoff then gave Chester a small peck on the cheek before going upstairs. After Geoff brushed his teeth and he and Chester had breakfast (for those wondering, Chester didn't exactly have teeth to brush, unless he wanted to), the two lovers left. After a bit, they made it to the construction zone. Patrick and Lola waved them over frantically.
"Where's the thing?" Geoff asked.
Patrick pointed. Some feet away, there was a weird, foggy darkness covering the area. It was so thick that nothing was visible on the other side. Some people were there w/ their phones out, and there was even a reporter!
"We don't know what happened," Lola said, "When I was walking over to my shop, this was just there!"
Patrick nodded in confirmation.
"I saw some people running off earlier, while some stayed to record/film it," Patrick explained.
"She's in there," Hoodie-Chester said.
Patrick and Lola gave him confused looks.
"Wait, seriously," Geoff asked.
"Mmhm. I can feel her horrible energy coming from there."
"Um, what the fuck are you two talking about?" Lola asked.
"It's this bitch we've been trying to stop. It looks like she's ready for a fight," Geoff explained while staring at the darkness.
Patrick and Lola's eyes widened.
"Wait, you're not going in there, are you?" Patrick asked.
Geoff, rather than answering, sprinted over to the dark area! Their friends, horrified, immediately gave chase.
"Eddie, what the fuck?!" Lola asked.
"Don't do this!" Patrick shouted.
Geoff and Chester ignored this and Geoff kept on running, going past many surprised folks of both human and monster descent. Patrick attempted to teleport and grab the two, but Geoff managed to evade Patrick's grasp and kept going! Eventually, he reached the darkness. W/o any time to think about his decision, Geoff ran in...
(Patrick and Lola)
"*gasp* EDDIE!" Lola shouted while Patrick looked in horror.
She then quickly tried to run in. Patrick, snapping out of his horror, grabbed the back of Lola's shirt.
"LET GO OF ME! LET GO OF ME!" Lola shouted.
"Stop struggling!" Patrick shouted, "You might die if you go in there!"
"I don't care! I can't let him die!" Lola replied angrily.
"Do you really think Geoff would want that?! I know you want to get him out and trust me, I do too, but I doubt you'd be able to find him and get out alive!"
Lola continued to struggle. Patrick, sighing, continued to hold her back.
"You damn fools..." Patrick muttered under his breath.
