Today, April 3rd, is
's birthday, and out of several of my work in progress projects involving these two, this one struck an emotional cord, and so we decided it being such a special concept to him, that it would be a perfect gift for a special occasion.
I have been immensely enjoying working on illustrations for his fanfic "The Joy of Joy" because it has such a deep rooted connection in our own relationship, and it being so incredibly hard to be away from him, being in a long distance relationship, because of Covid, it is a much needed distraction and outlet. These kinds of emotional and romantic illustrations are always an important outlet for me when I am unable to express my feelings in a physical sense with the one I love, and so the concept of sharing within the mind and connecting on a deeper, more spiritual level with the one you trust and love, has always been an important concept to the both of us.

I love this. From the moment I first saw the original wip for the first time, I loved it. It invokes such intense feelings. It is a very powerful image and special moment, and you captured it so perfectly. From the extreme closeness to the deep intense shared stare, to the softness and gentleness shown.
