Well, I have it on good authority that Konani here was going to bring something more along the lines of his 'power perversion potential' for Easter, but cooler heads prevailed and instead he brings something cute, not a basket of festively decorated eggs, but a bunch of Molcars, which is something completely opposite of the original intent of this pic, as evidenced by the writing on his cap. Konani was to be depicted booty-shaking to this remix of Taylor Girlz' "Wedgie in My Booty", a naughty tune if there ever was one (the 'wedgie' is a reference to thong undies). Specifically, the pic was inspired by this example of the animation meme this remix was made for.
Soo...Molcars, eh? I myself did not know about them until maybe 2 weeks ago. Off to Wikipedia: Pui Pui Molcar. The episodes are about two minutes and change so, bingeing then won't takke very long...if you're into that sort of thing.
Technical: As stated, this was to be just a pinup to fill a gap in my post rate, while I work on the next What, me Furry? 3-page installment, which as of this writing is entering the shading, highlighting and effects stages. So, for this pic I thought I could take a little time and experiment with doing extensively rendered lineless coloring, defining body masses with light and shadow. I almost used the tactic of "values" (essentially greyscale shading the entire figure over the flat-color layer) but chickened out when the result started looking rather sinister against the black backdrop that existed before (this is intended to be a PNG image with transparency behind the character, so it looks best blown up against FA's dark theme).
So, shading was done the way I've always done it, with darker and lighter versions of the base colors airbrushed in atop Multiply and Screen layers. The flats were an experiment in establishing separate layers for each color. While these were retained in the original CSP file, were not used and left hidden, with a flattened copy of all those layers doing the honors in directing the build-out of highlights and shadows. Add in another week to brainstorm and fuss over details intended to give his clothing some semblance of thckness (rather than looking like bodypaint), and you have an Easter-themed pic, that wasn't supposed to be, and posted only a week after Easter.
And oh yeah, the plaid pattern on the skirt? I drew it out line by line, in and out of those pleats. You're welcome :D
Digital drawing overpainted in Clip Studio Paint Ex, 37 layers and five layer folders, 15MB file in CSP's .CLIP format. Project ID# 493
