A collection of the speedpaintings that I've done this month. No animals this time but more intricate references here and there.
I even eased in to a portrait and it is quite approachable! Which encourages me to try out more in the future :3
You notice, I've got a theme going on this time: Africa and desert landscapes which has to do with my current school project.

Most of these paintings are copies of photographs. If you are interested, I'll try to provide you with the original reference images.
Here you can find the previous speedpainting-collection: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41276015/
Made with CLIP STUDIO PAINT and the Huion GT220 v2.

Aw happy you like 'em!
I never asked what you do for practice and learning... since your paintings are sooooooooooo... much more intricately designed, conceptualized, executed, polished, I'd wonder what you do and could recommend a learner for their practices OvO

Aah I don’t really know how to explain my process that well. Basically the majority of my paintings are studies, where I find some interesting material or thing and I'll build the whole drawing around that thing. I tend to do quite a bit of research for the materials and the drawing itself is part of the learning process. I feel like it suits me better to try to use the things I want to learn in actual drawings, instead of separate studies
Ah that's very intriguing. I might need to do that myself sometime soon. As of now my sketching and idea-finding processes are pretty disconnected from my research and usually I don't want to get into the details of things in between the colouring or shading. But that might be a pet-peeve of mine and could be adjusted.
Anyway, I wish you a lot of fun and lotsa cool ideas for your future works!

Ahhh the desert is a magnificent place to not be in probably :P
I can come up with a dozen neat concepts storywise that have to do with the mystery, danger and nomadic life in the desert. And since my project is ongoing, you're gonna see more desert themed speedpaintings and sketches next month :3

Awww thank you!
Well, I'm not so good at them either, which is why these speedpainting-studies can help getting acquainted with the shapes and surfaces.
Though I can't say it's pretty intriguing, hehe, since I haven't done a single human painting this month despite my resolution xP
