Okay, so this version is a little rough since I had to piece it together from my voice lessons (as always!)
But I am completely in LOVE with this song. A few years ago I went down to Nashville, and though it isn't Memphis, the same feeling fills you when you're in the capital. It's just this warm, elated feeling, like nothing can ever go wrong. Granted, I'm going into Country Music, so that place feels like home to me, but the feeling is just amazing.

No hunny, Nashville has clean air, beautiful scenery, and nice people. I live in Memphis, it is nasty hateful broken ugly place full of nasty hateful broken people. Let me explain a few points about this song: The man put on his blue suede shoes but once he touched down he is as blue as a boy can be, why? Because nigga stole his shoes, that's why he was walking with his FEET off and on Beale. You know why he answers the lady, "ma'am, I am (a christian) tonight"? It's because being anything else here will get you OPEN discrimination. The local furry convention, MFM, moved two cities away into a secluded, and I would even say, hidden, area to find a place where the attendees would not be assaulted and robbed.
