I redrew one of my OC grandsons of Chanticleer, so it makes sense to do the other.
This is Jonathan, the smart smooth talker among Chanticleer's grandsons, and Anthony's brother. His quick wit made him really popular in high school, and he also performed so well academically that he managed to get into nearby Vanderbilt University, the "Harvard of the South". He graduated from there in 1988 with an economics degree and a 4.0 GPA, and decided to take a job as a junior partner in a mergers & acquisitions firm in Toon York City, much to the dismay of his father, William.
Jonathan barely sings anymore outside of crowing and singing in the shower now that he's committed to his career. He's even dropped his original Southern accent, as he believes it sounds "too unprofessional" for the business world. Still, he flaunts his status as the grandson of the legendary hero Chanticleer Bluth, thinking his surname will give him clout in front of clients. Overall, he's pretty vain and obsessed with his looks, getting nice suits and styling his hair into a pompadour/mullet combo.
Even though Jonathan only hatched five minutes earlier than Anthony, he still saw him as a little brother, even calling him "baby bro" in high school. In addition, because Jonathan could raise stars with his crowing and Anthony couldn't, his parents doted on him more than Anthony. This started a longtime sibling rivalry between the two brothers, with Jonathan teasing Anthony about being the younger brother and for not having plans to go into a "real career", and Anthony getting back at Jonathan any way he can.
