3 months later -

Edmund had seen the 'door' when he felt that surge of power he knew that he was on the cusp is something great his muscles ached but he knew that was a signal of progress ,Joel had reaffirmed as such after telling him stories of his own hard time training, the next step was staying in this feeling ...that was ...tricky

the tiger had an impressive physique but to harness the fury of a storm ...there was work to be done , the next 3 months was full of heavy meals (the cat had to admit the wolf could cook) and work outs that last up to 16 hours, (6 hours lifting , 6 hours of harsh hand to hand practices, then 4 hours of mastering the storm ) there was more times then a few times (that he not like to admit ) Edmund , had reached his limit and passed out but Joel was strict, not a sadist.

the saying that the gold wolf repeated was: if lighting had a will of its own would it choose to strike down or would it gather to make it self stronger...

then the day came when something felt different , the hundreds of push up was done in a flash and the intense weight lifting was more of a light breeze,it became even more apparent when he went to grab his trusty sword and it shattered in this grasp when he inspected him self he saw that he was not only more muscular but he was also glowing with faint surges of electricity ... he walked to the edge of a river and gazed down at it

what stared back was a heroic ripped body that was emitting the power of the storm the wind picked up as his excitement did as well...looking around he decided to indulge him self , in the self worship and posing , a habit he picked from the golden wolf , men while a cocky smile crossed his face as he got more into it and he fantasized about how he can help....and how his father would be proud of him

grunting and smiling to him self like a fool he was unaware that Joel was watching and smiling proudly...a storm was brewing
