I've decided that Spacethumper is now in a good enough state to upload here, I want to try uploading game update stuff here less often so it's not as spammy. For those who haven't seen this though, let me know what you think! Controls are pretty limited, all you need is the arrow keys and the spacebar, specifics can be gotten from talking to 53N once you start playing.

You have no idea how much I love this game. Gameplay loop? Fun! Character interaction? Great! Animation and aesthetic? Absolutely amazing!
Now, fangirling over this damn awesome game aside, I have two questions.
One, what is the protagonist's species and can I use it please?

I don't really have a name for her species, always just kinda thought of her as "alien". You are free to use the design though! As for ideas, I'm always open to hearing them, just know that I'm getting close to endgame for this project so a lot of them might not get implemented.

Well, as most of my ideas were more 'expand game' oriented they probably won't get implemented at all (which is absolutely fine considering how soul-shattering the game development cycle is lol)
But here we go anyway! So:
1. Extra planets. The idea behind this is just 'have a new tileset for a new environment' where the only things that really change are the sprites, enemy strength and maybe resources. For the story though, it could be along the lines of planet hopping because adipose is a mediocre fuel source, making your way towards the innermost habitable region of the solar system you're in to find intelligent life to aid in making repairs and leaving properly. (possibly with some sort of cultural shenanigans where the native species worship fat or something)
2. Higher-tier gear. Probably only accessible after reaching another planet (specifically for combating the hypothetical newer enemies the protagonist would face, or just to expediate processes like mining or energy production.) Probably also higher-tier suit upgrades, although I'm just heavily biased in favour of blobs so this isn't too necessary.
3. New structures. I'm talking an armoury or some mech-guardian crafting station to produce guards or weapons to be used against the enemies you face. Maybe also something like an automation feature, where after a certain point you can have things automatically upgrade when you're in their proximity (maybe a new suit tech?)
4. Regen building health. Maybe a new structure that is really flimsy and expensive that causes nearby structures to repair themselves over time, or like a final upgrade that makes them regen on their own.
5. More interactions with Sen. I like that smartass AI. :)
6. Costume customisation? I dunno, I just added this after I'd finished the rest of this ...rant? ...ramble? ...something-or-other?
whatever it is, I thought that maybe even an alternate outfit or heck, just alternate colour would make the whole thing just that more investing to... probably just me, but whatever!
None of this stuff needs to be implemented though, the game is great as-is. But I at least get some joy out of coming up with ideas on how something could be even more cool (even if most of it is just personal preference.)

I absolutely love it! The simplicity of it all is really what appeals to me. Simple and enjoyable gameplay, super smooth pixel work, no hassle

Personal opinion, slimes are very manageable, just as long as you prioritize getting turrets and walls up at either sides of your compound. Once you have them up to max you can pretty much forget about them for the rest of the game. All things considered it could stand to be a fair bit harder!

T-this is a nice little game... and well, the character sure puts me to shame with how big they can get, h-heh... of course, it's pretty easy too when I don't even like to do any weight gain stuff to begin with, but that's besides the point... y-you've made an enjoyable game and the spritework is very good.
I just played through the whole game, and it has to be one of my favorite WG-focused games ever!

The game felt so well thought out and was nicely challenging, though maybe the end could have a bit more challenging enemies to balance out the benefits from the upgrades. The controls deserve special mention being accessible and feeling intuitive! Liked the little interactions the characters had durning the game - a bit more dialogue towards the end would be neat. Lovely work overall.
Very nice. The sprite work is exceedingly well done for a solo-made game as well as the animations, and the shaking effect and FX sound to further convey weight as it reaches each stage is a great touch. I noticed other icon pictures for the protag, but they're only viewable when going to the AI to talk to it. Hopefully, there'll be more interactions to showcase them and any potential emotive variants. Only complaint I can think of is the high crystal requirement for "100% weight". I was made aware of the venting energy right as I neared the limit, though I feel like even with knowing that it would still take a good while to gather the necessary amount.

Maybe even include the sprites, avatars, and animations, if possible? Comment aside, was made aware of this game through a twitter post and I'm very glad to have found this game. I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on this as well as whatever else you release.

Tha's a good game, seriously. This might be the best 'fetishy' game I've played, and it's not even complete yet! You've managed to take a quaint idea of wg and put it into a game, so refreshing compared to the standard MMORPG/text adventure format for fetish games.

This was legit a wonderful game. Worth replaying too.
I was caught off guard by how well it all worked out.
I believe some people mentioned it but I was hoping a few extra dialogues in between some of the stages, because the writing was pretty fun.
And I think I got the max ending, but was a tiny bit dissapointed that there was just an ending screen. I'm guessing that will be the last thing to properly add, some ending text or something.

Fr tho I finished the game and this was amazing. My only complaint is that it doesn't go bigger, but honestly I'm one of those people who thinks "BIGGER ALWAYS BETTER" and, for what it's worth, the sizes they do reach is pretty massive and of consistent quality compared to other fetish games out there. Excited to see where this game goes in the future :D
I'm excited for the final game! I can see it as a chill game I boot up when something like Team Fortress 2 really doesn't appeal to me, which is amazing since I don't normally like tower defense games like this. Maybe it's just the overall more chill vibes, or something. I'm about halfway to get the teleporter rn, my max suit upgrade being ~4,000.

This was such a lovely game ! Astonishing spritework. I loooved the character interactions. Wish 53N had more to say !!
My only criticisms I have on this game are:
-The endgame becomes a tedious waiting game.
-Jellies don't spawn enough during the endgame.
-There should maybe be *one* more crystal location to mine from since the most you can get at the moment is 8 per second. This contributes heavily to the waiting during the endgame.
-Buildings will still deplete energy even when they don't have any health to recover and upgrades to get.

Once you get mk. III autoturrets and a mk. II fusion reactor, it gets real easy to double up the turrets to the point the slimes can't even get to them half the time. Sometimes I'm not sure they're spawning at all ;P

Only just now stumbled across this game but I'm really glad I did! Short and sweet in execution, and I don't suppose it needs to be much more for a qt alien turning herself into a barely mobile mountain in the interest of survival. Really good shape and animations on said near-immobility, too. 👀

A really fun little game. Very fluid animations, great looking sprites and fun dialogue. The only things I would say is that the end game can get quite long waiting for crystals to accumulate. I think adding another crystal location would be good. Also, once you've gotten max level walls and auto turrets stacked, its pretty impossibly for the slimes to touch you, definetly make late/end game slimes more numerous/do more damage.
That aside, this is probably one of my fav fat/wg games right now, I can't wait to see what else you've got in works.

There are unfortunately not many (furry) weight gain-themed games (and even less good ones) - but this game was absolutely wonderful! I love all the attention to detail (belly noises, music changing as your character gets bigger, etc.) - I look forward to seeing more from you!
