Wereowls are the counterparts to wereravens. As wereravens were a common transformation among witches, wereowls are the preferred transformation for warlocks that wish to be closer to the night gods.
They are very similar to wereravens, in that they can eventually control the transformation and their magic could gain a boost from regular changing.
Like owls, the feathers along their bodies have soft edges, allowing them to move swiftly and silently through the forest. Their eyesight is unmatched by any lycan in recorded history. Capable of spotting a mouse from well over a mile away, wereowls are formidable hunters.
The preferred method of attack will usually involve an ambush, slashing at vital areas of the body with razor talons before dashing away into dark corners. Once they're sure a larger opponent is incapacitated, they finish it off with quick stab of the beak.
