I figured that I should upload the art pieces separately, that way in case you just wanna check out the art, you don't have to read through a whole ref's worth of info.
Silverstrike was basically based on what I always ended up liking most in leaders in warriors. Strong, wise cats who took no shit and lived and breathed their clan. I can't write ANYTHING without it being a dissection though it seems, so I ended up kind of putting a spin on it. In her head, she's anxious as hell, and essentially obsessed with maintaining a perfect image for the sake of her clan and also herself. On the outside? Stoic. Cool. Ready to punch anything that pisses her off. On the inside? I believe the term is "hot mess".

I'm also still working on the style I want to use when drawing cats, so be prepared for a few alterations between arts.
