As leader of the oldest historical foundation in the city, Shoji-sama represents peace for the future, and of hope from the past. Rumours say that she is the descendant of a Hindu goddess, and in her spirit she forever stands as a protector of the weak, and a guiding hand for the lost.

Can you guys tell I had a very good time drawing this picture?
From the background to Mothra herself, I was having a very good time drawing this one. The worst part about it was to stop working on it. Looking at it now I think the background could use a little bit more work, and perhaps tone down the highlights here and there, but overall I am fairly happy with how it came out. I hope I get to draw Mothra again fairly soon, she's a fun character to work on.
