Yet another segment of Kanko finally finished, this time fully equipped with deadly eye pokers!

The most time consuming part of making these was getting those resin claws the way I wanted them. Making the masters for the molds and then waiting on agreeable weather to cast them outside since I don't have a workshop... eh
My fault for making them out of epoxy resin, but it's what I had and I wasn't about to waste it. Next time I'll try urethane resin.

Not to mention the bubbles..! I tried my hardest to get as few bubbles as possible, but if I were to ever start producing resin claws to sell, a pressure pot is a must.

On the bright side, epoxy takes well to sanding and polishing. So most of the bubbles were smoothed down considerably and the claws are pleasant to feel again, but they're still very visible of you look at the right spots. The color and sparkle of the resin does, to quote a maker I follow, "hide my crimes".

Tl:dr, minky pads squish good, and the claws have a suuuuper satisfying heft to them without pulling the gloves down.
