Finally got a proper reference sheet of my tabaxi character from one of the DnD campaign I participated in :3
A hopeless romantic bard who like to sing and dance. She tend to get into trouble quite often thanks to her charming nature. Growing up among her tribe, she is quite an odd one who like to spent time in nearby forest where the fae dwell. After she made friend with the Fae folks. She would learning to sing, dance and captivating her audience from them.
Oh and she also love warm bath, like reaaaaally love warm bath.

Well no not exactly, I go clothing base off the belly dancer outfit that I saw and I don't think the origin of that is from Khmer. I feel like maybe egypt or middle east? it's one of the costume she used to perform in medieval style world imagine western culture. So other culture costume make it feel exotic because she is a performer.
But the character herself is a DnD character so she is more like tribal. I would like to imagine that she is kinda like tribal in the wild of African? She is more influence by the western medieval people though.

Ha! Keep in mind that west is not singular culture ;) that was mass of superpowers with each holding gun to another's head.
Who knows, who knows. Maybe in Saxony or Burgundy that would be exotic but what is it to Portugese which trade exotic goods? ;)
