Your very welcome. I think its the vintage televisions in the background and the large remote that triggered the memories. When the art has been able to trigger some sort of memory or inference in the viewer then the artist has been successful in demonstrating communication through the piece itself. Perhaps its not what the artist thought it would be interpreted as but everyone is different. :)
I grew up reading science books from the UK publisher Usborne, which contained illustrations that had to work for all language markets. Any printed matter in the illustrations had nonsensical text like JOOGG CUBET or XYELIGH REFYUION printed on drawings of magazines and books. Usually it was more abstract, like ILLI[[#]||#|| ||LI#IL#]]][\|.
