I really like the lighting on this. The way the firelight reflects off the characters and the various surfaces like the logs and the grass surrounding the fire pit is really well done. And smart kids for building a ring of stones around the blaze, too! Plus, my gosh but the expressions look great, especially on the little grey-furred pup. Poor kid. But I'm sure everything will look better in the morning, and it seems like the kid telling the story must be pretty good! Fantastic work on this!
