Yet another commission from the talented and very accommodating

Clutch-mate of (and technically co-queen with) Pelagia, Valerius couldn't be more different from her sister. Like her sister, she started her life as a wild dragon, before being captured for livestock-killing. Where Pelagia wound up with a local merchant however, Valerius was bought by the beastmaster of an amphitheatre, and so spent a significant amount of time fighting other dragons for the entertainment of the crowds. It was several years before she saw her sister again after their parting, and a few decades before Pelagia was in a position to force her freedom. Left physically and mentally scarred by her years of fighting, she refused to take her sister's side in ruling, instead becoming her sister's guardian and eventually the marshall of the kingdom's armies.
