The K-57 "Protector" Tank was originaly not even a Galactic Alliance Militäry Vehicle. Its History starts long before the War, with the Fall of a unknown, underdeveloped world, called Earth. After Humanity was barrely saved from Slavery and resettlement to the Planet Vega 3, Humanity was understandibly demoralized and felt weak. Luckily, the Rough Trader, Catharina "Red" Du'gal, who owned the hole Star System, let humans do whatever they want on Vega 3 and left them enough Stuff to development and building of a new Society. If there was something good in losing Earth, it was that Humanity throwed every Oposing Idioligy out of the Window and finally starts working together.

Beside building up a strong Society, Defence against Outside Forces where on the top of the List of the newly founded "Vega Federation". By lerning from the Fall of Earth, a Tank with the most Advanced Amor and Weapons was developt. This was the Birth of the K-57 "Protector" Tank. The Tank is easily recognizable by its large Rail Gun and its Pike nose. It is also a wide and relatively low profil design, with a strong and reliable Engine and Gearbox. It quickly became one of the mostly build Ground Vehikle of the Vega Federation. It may be remarkeble slower than its future Main Opponent, the Void Born "Snakehead" MBT, but its much simpler, more survivable and are easier to repair compare to the Snakehead. A blown off Track is easier to repair then a Repulsorlift Unit.

Maybe this was the Reason, the Galactic Alliance choose this Tank as their new MBT, after the Vega Federation joined their Ranks. It is also possible that to this Point, the Alliance used dozens of diffrent Tank Designs, a true Nightmare for every Supply Unit. Now there are countless Factorys in the Alliance, who crank out hundreds of this Tanks by the Day. The Alliance kept the Designation the Vega Federation gave the Tank and it fights now on dozens of Worlds, against the Enemy, it was ever supposed to fight against.

Originaly, I was not interrested in bringing Humanity into the Story. But now i consider it to be a part of the Alliance and after I stomped Earth in multiple Text Descriptions, it seemed only fair to give it a new Chance.
