Well, here is the fursuit group photo with me highlighted. I thought I was more toweard the front of the group but turned out I ended up more in the middle. Kinda hard to judge in fursuit.

Due to the layout of the hotel, the grassy area in front of the gazebo was the only practical spot for such a large gathering of suiters. The hotel itself was more geared toward events like wedding and the like so it wasn't ideal for a furcon but it was basically the only thing available due to some unfortunate circumstances. So we was lucky to get a hotel at all on so short of a notice. But they managed to pulled it off.

Anyhoot, the suiters started to gather like 30 minutes to noon, where the photo was scheduled to be taken from a second story balcony at exactly noon sharp. Well, that was the plan anyway. There were some technical difficulties here and there. Plus we was instructed to wait after the shot so that the photographers can get inside to set up for the short fursuit parade, which happen right after the group photo. T

Being outside and close to noon, it sure got a bit toasty as we waited... and waited... and waited. But whatever issues they had was taken care of and the photo itself was finally taken and then... more waiting some more before we can start the parade, which consisted marching back inside the hotel, going through the lobby, back outside a short distance, and then to the end in the main ballroom where we could mingle a bit in the much cooler air.

By the way, I partook in the mummy fur panel where a group of suiter were wrapped up in toilet paper like mummies. Kinda an ACFI thing since the con takes place in October. I you look closely, you might be able to spot a few of us in the crowd. There were like six or seven of us that participated this year.
