I played in many fantasy role play games by forum, but a character, my first serious character, was one I really felt bad in leaving behind as the forum in which I created him closed; now, I decided to revive and revamp him, with his appearance being recreated in this mystery adopt by
Rancidious and remade in the current reference sheet by
Hau-Oli with a color correction. I think, anyway, I talked a bit too much, and so, let's let ya know some info about him.
Name: Edgar Greenscale
Age: 40
Nickname: The “Deadly Crocodile” or “DC” for short
Species: Crocodile Beastfolk
Birthplace: Leviathan's Dominion
Height: 8,85 feet or 2,70 meters
Personality: Edgar, being a pirate captain, shows the typical behaviour of the sailors of his ream: scurrilous and full of himself, the crocodilian brute lives almost only for his gains, both in terms of fame and money. A rude criminal who loves what he does and that enjoys the pirate life, and not even dreaming of downlookin’ people only for their race: for him, every person, in that terms, is on the same spot, all equal in front of life and death, so he doesn’t care about racism or similar, having in his crew any type of creature, both living and undead, all the same for him, as long as they’re useful. The pirate enjoys what he does, from robbing, to fighting the law enforcers, as well as making havoc and making people suffer; this, in particular, is something that he loves to do: to see the fear in the eyes of who’s standing before himself, trembling at the “Deadly Crocodile” presence, is something he lives up for, the screams and pleads of his victims being music to his ears... not that he never went on the other side of this situation.
Revenge is now his major goal, after another pirate, Ian Finnerland, an undead elf who caused the fall of Edgar’s crew in the past: while them were raiding a merchant ship, the elf showed up, killing the equipage of the raided ship, and beating up Edgar and his comrades too. The giant scar on Edgar’s vast gut, being the testimony of their battle, made by Ian to recover his head after Edgar ate it to distract the elf, who gutted the crocodile, leaving him on the verge of life. As the captain miraculously recovered, he went on a quest to find a way to kill Ian, the zombie being immune both to physical an magical attacks.
On a predatory perspective,”DC” can be really ravenous: if he’s hungry, for him doesn’t matter too much if you’re his ally or enemy, be found by the captain an you’ll end on his menu; Edgar loves the feeling of a prey sliding trough his body and ending into his vast gut, enjoying the struggles and fights of the morsels who happen to slide past his mouth, not missing the opportunities to mock and joke about the ones he ate, making their stay in his digestive tract the most long and painful as possible, to satisfy his own wicked pleasure. If in rare cases his meals don’t end digested, but are instead spit out to live another day, he’ll be sure to remember the morsel about how it will always be a property of his stomach, and that, sooner or later, the hungry crocodile will claim his fill, the only thing separating them being time. The only exception to this, as they’re his most direct and loyal subordinates, are four people: the tanuki necromancer Shiro Deadend, the vice captain Morgianna Lewis, the undead hitman Robin O’Toole, and in the end his navigator and main artillerist, Ivan Founoire.
Even if he likes his body and his own enormous girth, Edgar is quite sensitive about negative comments about his physique and weight, being more then willing to add the fools who insulted him to the same belly they complained about.
Abilities: Being a Crocodile, Edgar is an excellent swimmer, able to remain in the state of apnea for hours without any problem, as well as having a pretty good underwater view. He’s a strong warrior, able in fencing with his cutlass and capable of lifting up more than his own body weight with little fatigue, having too higly resistant scales to protect him from most of the attacks, both physical and magical.
Trivia: The name of his ship is "Dead King's Will", as reference to how Edgar obtained it: when he still wasn't the captain, he forced the previous one, Eidon Moru, to give him the leading role, giving so his kingdom (the crew and the ship) to the "Deadly Crocodile", before being devoured by him.

Oh, that’s actually super cool! I have a few characters from all the way back but never really found them again! It’s been quite some time since then and it’s a bit unfortunate to hear about the forum going down, but I’m so glad you repurposed him! I’ve been trying to do that with a few of my other characters and it’s so nice to approach them with a new perspective! And what’s not to love about him? He’s HUGE, and got scars, and is a badass croc!
I'm really glad ya like him ^w^ Edgar is a character, as said here in the bio, that I have from 2015, and with a story that I'm continuing to update and work on uwu
