It was a pleasant day on the beach. Calm wind tugged at the fur of his mane and tail. The quiet slosh of the ocean waves on the beach filled the air. It was a curiosity, watching him sit among what must have been a small collection of souvenirs. He had a feel about him. An aura that drew attention from everyone around. Perhaps it was the way he bore himself, or his charismatic smile. The little wink he would sometimes give to someone watching too close. Perhaps it was the way his fur seemed to shimmer and shape the light about him until one wasn't sure if his pattern mimicked the sunset, or if it was somehow the other way around.

A beautiful art piece done by  LezzertLol, the original creator of my recently adopted Kromaliel. It took a little bit of conversation to settle on a beach scene, and I think it came out just about perfectly. Kromaliel really has found himself a couple of souvenirs from his visit to the ocean. With his power to shift the light around him, though, one must really wonder if that's really his colors, or if he's reflecting the setting sun.
