first I carved some foam into roughly the right shape, laid on some white fur, pinned it down and glued around the eyes, then I've coloured it using sharpies of all things, yellow first, then the markings, then I've used a light beige dye just to darken the yellow a bit. I'm going to add a nose made from modelling putty, where the heart shaped outline is.
