I am really sorry to hear about your situation and the neural issues weighing so heavily for this decission. That must really suck.
But well, I guess that cliché saying of "do not cry because it's over, smile because it happened" could really apply perfectly here. That went for a long, long time, and it was a project many people could only dream about!

Thanks, I really appreciate that. Yeah, wifey needs to take a break from work for I don't know how long. Besides the nerve issues she's also just completely burnt out creatively, so I don't mind having to take on some extra commission work for bills.
We've certainly accomplished a big thing and I'm glad we ultimately did it. I've learnt a LOT during this process on what and what not to do and that will make the next project go much smoother for sure! I have a lot of plans :)
