Two officers for a star ship of my own making.Known as the USS Poltergeist, a diplomatic/espionage federation vessel in the distant future, where many races come together under Starfleet. The ship has a cloaking device.
Zeshka is the engineer of the ship, and a female Ferengi. She grew up in an all-female colony off Ferenginar, that had grown into its own separate culture distinct from the home world, with focus and emphasis on beauty, fashion, and aesthetics, on top of finances. They were a liberated people from their predecessors and branched out with their minds to explore new realms of possibility... Though profit was still an incentive. Zeshka was unlike other Ferengi of her society in that she wasn't as money-hungry as others, and instead, was purely a tinkerer. Chastised by her people, she joined Starfleet- knowing that they didn't care about that as money wasn't a concept to the Federation at large.
Zeshka is, like many of her culture, highly decorated. She covers herself in makeup and rather eccentric garments. In the future of Starfleet, clothing regulations have loosened somewhat - But really, only for cultures such as hers, where clothing and choice of attire are integral to their feelings of liberation and self-expression. She is a rather flirtatious and perverse woman, who acts more like a male Ferengi than female, and often times 'harasses' V'lagh with offerings of intimacy, to which V'lagh often responds aggressively, much to Zeshka's delight and entertainment, if not slight excitement.
V'lagh Maztar is the head science officer of the Poltergeist. She is a classic Klingon, as far as Klingons go, save for her scientific expertise - She is a wizard with understanding the very foundations of space and time, and is deeply invested in temporal mechanics, which take up much of her studies. She is deeply obsessed with the mythos and history of Kronos, with a desire to go back in time and see her species as they advanced through battle. She hates Zeshka, with a burning passion, yet also has a strange affection for her if not interest masked underneath a loathing persona. V'lagh is easily annoyed and aggravated, and usually keeps to herself, however as soon as her interests are mentioned or relevant, she changes into a different person. She is highly passionate about her work both in and out of Starfleet, and turns from an introverted and even violent person to a bubbling, monologging aficionado.
