The founders of the Hero's Guild, Scholar's Guild, and Swindler's Guild of New Star City. All three have long since died, all over 100 years ago.

Edmund founded the Scholar's Guild first, and quite some time before the other two. He formed it as an attempt to try to bring better education into New Star, and begin collecting archives and encourage reading+writing+learning history.

The other two formed their guilds within a short period of each other, and had conflicting interests, so they clashed often, eventually leading into a full scale conflict between the two guilds that resulted in Galloway's death.
