So Sonie wasn't sure if I had meant I wanted the Spinda with out without the mask during the sketching phase. Now we have an alt version of the latter piece just because I was quite enamored with the idea of their face. Happy little coincidences since I thought of keeping them masked until later on to show their face proper. But it is much too cute to not show little doc's face to the world so here is a second part that is just removing the mask now.
Funny enough I wanted to wait till this post to mention how I don't believe/see this Spinda being Klutz despite the similarities at first glance. Though I mean first glance you see something Klutz doesn't have, a r m s. The Medic has the arms for working their medi gun, and being all around rather good healer. It'd be hard to heal without them I would think in the field.
There's also the face that their pattern of spots is different compared to Klutz. If I remember right, the PokeDex entries stated that no two Spinda have the same spot pattern. I may just be blinds but look pretty different even if a bit to me, may need some confirmation from you folks though; https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachme...../SpindaRef.png
There also be the obvious lack of daemon corruption/influence jutting out from their backside or head as horns or spade tail. They seem to be pretty mortal still perhaps. Fighting for some daemon company as a mortal merc mon, interestings.
I think that BLU Medic tis not the same Spinda we have come to know, but rather a new one hired aboard to support and fights. But that's just theory. A Picha Verse Theeeory.

Adding to the thought of the Spinda being a separate character from Ruby, its eye color is a slightly deeper hue of blue compared to the cyan seen in the reference sheet.
Anatomy also separates the two, as this Spinda's shoulders have a larger breadth compared to the Hell Corp employee's beginning of the shoulders, and has a notably different facial profile to the prior character. On top of that, the Spinda's hip anatomy sees more spaced-out, thinner thighs, and a generally more proportionate pelvis to the shoulders.
Or the short form, the new Medic Spinda is not only clearly different, but also lacking in some effeminate traits Ruby is noted to have. In being closer to Pich himself in anatomy, it suggests the Spinda is also leaning towards a masculine frame. However, it will not say a word on the subject. Ever.

Goodness, that is quit a thorough observation. Very observant friend you are since noted all that! Funny enough I did note the darker hues of the eyes on the medic here but didn't comment on it to see if would be caught.
Which definitely seemed to have been. Guess you're the Sniper cause you got quite an eye aha.
Yes, Spindas apparently so far seem to be rather silent type species in Picha Verse. Quiet and mysterious types. Though the name seems rather possible. Seems like an opposite to Ruby. I haven't quite thought what would name the lil doc here but that can be a good ideas.
Medic and Klutz are really Sapphire and Ruby. Much more quieter than the trumpeting Pokemon games that share their name ha.

The name is just a leftover from another site, but perhaps the perception and prior knowledge is notable.
Spindas do seem to have a habit of being mute in settings where Picha is involved, for a variety of reasons. The latest reference for Klutz/Ruby specifies that it cannot speak due to unspecified past events, but appears to handle it otherwise.

In the case of the Medic Spinda, perhaps the muteness is for other reasons. Due to perception constantly involving correcting for spinning, maybe, the muteness is intended aa both personal shyness and being wary of Spies at all possible times. Having seen peculiar and possibly disturbing things in the setting (Is it aware of the bots and the node graphs?) may also encourage it.
For one reason or another, the Spinda gravitated towards Picha. Perhaps an odd sense of kinship in their being out of the way characters, a sort of fire and ice contrast, mutually being odd characters due to the source material and other traits, or otherwise just running into each other most of the time.
Eventually, in some time away from the main action of a match (Defense during an Intelligence match?), the Spinda may have managed to begin to say its true name to Picha after enough questioning by the Chu. In the case of it being Sapphire, it could have come out as "Saph—" or "Saphi—" before a sudden Scout appearance or similar cut the conversation off.

Perhaps. Though, it always seems to be the quiet ones that know much, or have very good reasons for being quiet.
