TaleSpin:The great adventure!(The series)
As everyone knows, TaleSpin was a great animated series of the 90s that was first transmitted by Disney Channel / The Disney Afternoon and then to the whole world ... cartoons from the 80s and the 90s were the pillar of entertainment for all ages ... until all change suddenly...and disappeared almost completely as years later!
Based on the characters created by Rudyard Kipling in his book "The Jungle Book", and the Series is Set in The City of Cape Suzette and the adventures of bush pilot, Baloo The Bear, whose Air Cargo Freight Business with his nseparable companion Kit Cloudkicker, who affectionately calls him "Papa Bear"!!
What has caught me the attention of this cartoon is that the vocal work of the leads was made by Ed Gilbert and R. J. Williams ... the same as years before gave their voices to the animated series (my All-Time Favorite) Kissyfur!
Originally "Talespin" began as an animated film for the television entitled "Plunder & Lightning" and released on September 7, 1990 and Nominee for an Emmy Award! Later on, the film was divided into 4 parts for the official tv series!
All the vocal actors/actresses did a great job for this series ... and on a sad note Ed Gilbert who gave life to Baloo passed away from lung cancer on May 8, 1999...nine years after TaleSpin premiered!
For this reason I made this drawing, it's a tribute to that great era of animation, when there were real entertainment and adventures in the stories!
And to finish this,I would like to bring everyone this trivia:
The name of the show is a play on "tailspin", the rapid descent of an aircraft in a steep spiral!
The two words in the show's name, tale and spin, are a way to describe telling a story!

This is a very wonderful picture Fred. I love it.
It's fortunate that we got the whole series on DVD, sadly not the full 'Plunder and Lighting' movie with additional scenes, but maybe that will change one day, or it might be available one day on Disney+ or something? :)
Once again you've done a terrific job and I guess it may have been because of Kissyfur that Disney wanted both Ed and R.J. to voice both characters. 'hug'

Talespin is now on Disney Plus in the UK. I don't care if I'm way too old for it. I'm watching a few episodes. Able to handle a controversial view? I liked it MORE than Duck Tales. Maybe it was the exotic dieselpunk world it was set in; so different to the standard modern setting of the syndicated Disney shows.
