I love her eyes! I think she might be a bit embarrassed being seen while she is serenaded by the young gentleman. Hopefully, he is more Lochinvar than Lothario.
The golden pheasants are the same genus, Phasianidae, as the jungle fowls that parented the chicken, so one yard bird or another! A bigger challenge would be keeping ptarmigans; it is not easy or perhaps even possible to domesticate them. I'm sure one of your friends might succeed, if they lived far enough north or on a cold planet.
