After being assaulted Ak'Ress scurried into a closed off corner of the slums. She keeps going over in her mind what happened, and what she did to cause it. It had to be her fault, right? Was she flirty somehow? She didn't intend to be, she had only went to collect a crate of fish... How can she prevent further attacks? Should she mutilate herself so she isn't pretty? Snap her horns, gouge out an eye, cover herself in scars? She doesn't think the pain from any of those things would be as bad as what she just went through...

Now without a job, and still not having eaten in a few days, she can only sit still and cry, trembling and jumping at every sound she hears, especially those of footsteps nearby... What if someone finds her? What if it happens again? The fear keeps her paralyzed on the spot, despite her rumbling belly and hunger aches.

And to think, only a few hours ago, she had been happy, and feeling like she was getting somewhere. She had a job, it might have been drudge work but at least she could have made enough to eat! Now... now her options seem very, very limited...

How long can she stay here before starvation forces her out again, out into the dangers of the world, and the possible clutches of another rapist....?
