After he was transformed by the fruits he went wild and killed his family, and than more Drifter children were effected by fruits and went wild too and than 80% of the whole world population were killed?! O.o

Huh, you just made me realize something. Considering he was the first generation of drifter children, that means his father was one of the first transformed generation, which means he was born a human.

With that in mind, "Canis Abendrot" is a pretty odd name for a human...

I saw this comment somewhere else. Which part of this is reminiscent of AoT? Cause I wanted to have a slight AoT reference/inspiration later where it's somewhat obvious but now I can't see it x3

O, he's been turned 10 years prior... And has been this mindless monster for all that time.
That little guy just said it, not much living stuff around and Schwarzpelz might have contributed a lot to that diminution around him, wherever he was and went.
So his family has been gone a long time ago. He might be the cause of their demise but he might never know.
Ten years is a very long time, especially if there is a diminution of 80% of all living things, which would include the population.
There is in good likelihood no one still alive who know about what did happen after he got turned...
Now wonder he has all this guilt on his mind.
And being so young when he was turned mean that he might not even know where he was living.
One thing for sure, if I were him I would try to find my home and see what remains.
There might be clues left, who knows...

So for a little bit of clarification he turned when he was 18, just like Celia did, so not thaaat young.
And he might have travelled quite a distance at that size in 10 years.

This mean that a good % of those living things on that planet have gone through his digestive system.
Just hope that when he does his next... You know... He does not find remains of people like clothing mingle in his pile. That would be quite a distraught to his new awaken level conscientiousness.
Strange that the population has not been able to take him down during all that time. He was a huge monster after all, very hard for him to hide away.

I'm sure that he has been viewed like death on legs or something when people saw him coming their way. Once he was around just the ground tremor that he would produce by moving around could not leave anyone indifferent to his presence.

Even today, here in real life, there is not much that we know about the people from one thousand years ago.

So Schwarzi is a very, very old guy having seen a lot of history, and what not happening in his life.
Strange that the guy with glasses at the beginning of the story knows more about him and the danger his power could incur than Schwarzi himself after having been in this huge form for a thousand years. Well, that is at least what we were led to believe...

Question...
Do humans in this story have a normal lifespan like we do?
How about the anthros that have not been turned?
Are all the ones that have been turned, blessed or not blessed depending on how you see it, with a very long lifespan?

Already only 10 years when the change began to happen 80% of the planet living beings has been wiped from it surfaces.
Makes me wonder how low the number of living beings is 1000 years later...

Like I said before, since he has just awakened up from 10 years of roaming as a mindless beast, with blood taste in his mouth I might add. That means that he is still digesting his last bloody meal... Just hope for him that he does not find humans remains and/or pieces of clothing once that meal goes out the other end. The worst out all of this is that it's something that he cannot escape from, let just hope that he only ate wilder beast and nothing else. Otherwise, he will be in for a shock, a depressing shock... And kind of knowing you and your artistic preferences over the years, I'm pretty sure that is not something that you'll be showing us.

I'm really loving where the story is going and I'm very interested to see how Schwarzpelz becomes the grumpy wolf we know and love

Also, because of his size, he could have roamed around the planet a few times in ten years...
Meaning that his home could be anywhere on the planet.
He might never find where he was living.
Not only that, but at this height and size, it's almost impossible for him to recognize landmarks as they look quite different.
For example, he's way above the tree height, so for him the horizon can only be blocked by mountain, and rivers will almost always look like a little stream except for the largest affluent.
Even his perception of depth would be quite different than ours because of the extent of his eyes separation, meaning that for him everything will look a lot closer which make sense giving his size.
The last thing, though, how long will he be able to hold without food? He will eventually crave food.
So many more stories to tell.

Weeell... it's mostly Schwarzi's father being a scientist and him being related with drifters and the fruits
Kinda reminds of... you know, a certain doctor and his relationship with another particular tranformation >>

hmmmm nah, too many differences, like here his father isn't the one forcing him to transform or able to transform himself, and I think Grisha was a doctor more than a scientist, though that would be related a bit I guess.

Ouch, is this implying he was a mindless rampaging giant for 10 years before enough of the cores broke for him to regain his mind? He seems too young to be 10 years older unless he was extremely young when he touched the fruit, he still looks like barely a teenager if not even younger version of current Schwarzpelz. Or maybe they age slower once that happens since this is apparently taking place 1000 years in the past. (Damn, 1000 years... I figured he was old but I didn't know THAT old.. I forgot if it was mentioned if drifters still have a standard human lifespan or if they also live to be much older).

The way (she?) calls the children of drifters the "cursed generation" you would think there would be mass panic if the whole drifter thing is still recent enough for these to be some of the first children to touch the fruits. I don't think most people would just go "Huh, guess I am a cat-human hybrid now, oh well" since if these were the first kids that would be a recent development. Although I guess that also means that people would be experimenting and studying the fruits everywhere since nobody knew of the effects yet of an offspring of a hybrid touched one. You don't just run into something like that without trying to study it and figure out how it works.... shame they didn't know about the side effects on children. Now I wonder if the current setting is more of a post-apocalyptic setting since they seem to not even be middle ages level yet and have barely any technology whatsoever yet a thousand years in the past they had scientists... (And that little one also used the word "radar"... though that could just be translation of a phrase for the reader's sake)

Also 1000 years ago... there goes my theory that Schwarzpelz's father and Chelia's father knew each other.

All depends on how the author tells the story and also how time works between the two worlds.

Mini-Spoiler or... tiny detail reveal here: Schwarzi was 18 when he touched the fruit, same as Celia, which is the age from which drifters and humans can be affected by the fruit at the very earliest. So he's basically 28 now but mentally still 18 since nothing changed in that regard for the last 10 years.

And yeah it's somewhat post-apocalyptic in that a lot of technology and the people smart enough to build/use it was lost.
I used "radar" at purpose since it hints a little at a more "evolved language". They wouldn't have stuff like radars in the other world~

So he was..."gone" for a decade? Geez .. o.o

This comic is number 1 but in my book ^.^, best I have ever read so far. It just keeps giving the stuff that makes it perfect! (If this became a book, with no doubt, I would buy it the moment it released)
