You just turn on your DS, start the game, and don't select "continue" instead, go down to "mystery gift" and select "something something wfc" and it'll ask you if you want Mew. Say yes! Get it. Start game, make an open spot in your party, go to the Pokemart, get Mew! Save. Fin.

There is another way to get mew, but u need the download pokemon farm game from wii and diamond/ pearl.
