The trio make their way to a large area with a tower in the centre and while Spyro deals with the Rams and Shepherds Darren and Alex use the whirlwind to go to the top of the tower, with Spyro not too far behind.

"Alright, now let's free Gildas!" Spyro said as they free Gildas.

“Spyro, my friend, how about a hint on gliding?” Gildas said upon being freed.

"You bet!" Spyro excitedly replied.

“For the longest glide, press the X button at the top of a jump and try pressing the triangle button to drop down in mid-flight. And as for these two, I'll give them snouts so they look more like dragons.”

Gildas said as Darren and Alex's faces stretch out into dragon snouts which quickly get covered in fur and scales while Gildas teleports away.

"Wow! We've got snouts now Alex!"

"Yeah! And I think we need new names now as well!"

"Too right there! How do Azure and Scorch sound?"

"Awesome!"

"Yeah!"

"You two get to Astor by the exit vortex while I deal with that Blue Thief over there!"

"Got it!"

"See you soon Spyro!" The newly renamed Azure and Scorch said as they make their way to Astor's Crystal Statue while Spyro glides over to where the Blue Thief is.
