Chapter 1 - Greenica Greens
Niko Village
Kongo wakes up from his slumber, and goes to start his day like all other days should, Fishing, chopping wood, and Mushroom harvesting. Life was going great for Kongo, but when he was about to rest, Disaster struck, it was the minions of Demoncus and he was starting to reak havoc on the island, Kongo with nothing but his axe, he tried fighting, but unfortunately his axe broke and was instantly knocked out unconscious with a single hit from the wooden bat
Open Sea
Kongo was drifting in the open sea on a piece of wood keeping him afloat, in the subconscious of his mind he heard a voice “Kongo… can you hear me..?” It sounded like a young female, he responded “yeah? Who are you?” The voice said “I am Sola, the princess of the sun Realm, I need your help” he said “Why me?” Sola said “Because you… are the hero of the sun Realm… find the necklace and you’ll see…” a light began to shine as Kongo began waking up
Greenic Village
Kongo woke up in a bed with a Greenic next to him, it asked “Kono Se, Duko?” Kongo didn’t understand and asked “Um… can you say it again?” The Greenic then responded… in English “Who are you?” “I’m Kongo” he responded and said “where am I?” The Greenic said “Greenica, We saw you on beach, dragged you here” Kongo felt like he has been separated from home, as he began to walk out of his home the Greenic said “Wait, you must have Sword and Shield before leave village” Kongo said “Um… where do I get Sword and Shield?” The Greenic lead Kongo to the blacksmith and gave him the Sword and Shield “here Sword and Shield, careful, humans wanna kill Greenics” Kongo was a bit surprised and said “Um… I didn’t expect that at all, but I’ll see what I can do” he walks out looking for the dungeon of Greenica
Greenica Town
Kongo wondered into the kingdom looking for anyone who can help find the first dungeon, and altho many of the people think he’s just another theif looking for the king's gold, so much so that the guards took him to the king directly the first guard said “This cat is looking for the dungeon of Greenica” the Second guard said “We think he’s looking for your gold stash sir” the King then asked Kongo “Why are you looking for the dungeon?” Kongo said “a voice, named Sola told me to go to the first dungeon and find a necklace” the King amused by this said “Your granted to go to the Dungeon of Greenica and if you come back alive and with the necklace you speak of, i’ll reward you” he said jokingly about the reward part Kongo gladly accepted then the king said “take him to the Dungeon of Greenica, and give him supplies for the journey” the two guard then gave Kongo little to no supplies as they took him to the Dungeon
Greenica Dungeon (Outside)
The Guards lead Kongo to the first Dungeon and let’s him in, Kongo asked “aren’t you guys coming with me?” The first Guard said “We aren’t allowed to” the second guard said “we’re here to escort, not to help” Kongo then shrugged and entered the Dungeon when Kongo was out of hearing range Guard one said “I bet 50 gold he dies” the second Guard said “your on”
Greenica Dungeon (Inside)
Kongo walked into the first room which was infested by Horned beetles, he tried to walk past them but he was slowed down by the amount of beetles there are, he eventually got to the next room and found some Skeletons, he fought them off, before gaining a key… there was 3 ways, the door infront seems to be unlocked, the door to the left is blocked by a organic barrier, and the door to the right is locked. Kongo decided to go to the Door to the right and opening it like such, he found another key but as well as some gold. Kongo wondered and tried to break the organic barrier but couldn’t since it seems indestructible to his Sword, with little option he went to the door that’s to the north, and found another door to the right that’s locked, he came across more Horned beetles but they were bigger and aggressive, he decided to attack them and once he did he opened the door to the right, inside was a hammer, big enough to destroy walls then a idea came to mind, he went to the organic barrier and breaks it revealing the door underneath, once he walked inside there was a roar, startled he looked around then a giant Horned beetle appeared with the same material as the organic wall, Kongo tries running but ends up falling down a pit.
Greenica Dungeon (Depths)
Kongo was at the bottom but seemed to injured himself pretty badly, as he was ontop of bones of all the unfortunate explorers, he then heard a voice, it was Sola again saying “Kongo… are you ok?” Kongo grunted as he gets up “Y-Yeah… just a scratch” he looked around “you sound closer, where are you?” He looked around before finding a necklace with a sun crystal as he picked it up, the light shined brightening the room “Kongo, please, defeat the monsters of Demoncus and save me” Sola said as Kongo replied with “How will I do that?” Sola said “By defeating the monsters on each island you’ll weaken Demoncus little by little til he is completely defenseless, easy for you to attack him” Kongo then said “that makes sense” he walked into the next room carrying the necklace, and altho the room was dark the light from the necklace shined the way, helping him get through the darkness, as he progressed he found himself in a room with Horned Beetles on the walls
Beetlus' Room
The giant beetle came down and roared at Kongo “You think you beat me? I Beetlus will turn you into nothing more than moss!” As Beetlus charged Kongo dodged and tried attacking with his sword “damn! What kind of armor is it?!” Kongo said Sola then replied with “Maybe there’s a way of smashing its armor” Kongo got the idea, pulled up his hammer and as Beetlus charged he slammed the hammer onto Beetlus cracking it’s armor “ACK YOU BEAT ME WITH HAMMER! I NO SQUASH LIKE BUG, I SQUASH YOU LIKE BUG!” Beetlus then climbed the walls and prepares to crush Kongo with its fall attack, Kongo dodged it and slashes its belly with the sword then Beetlus turns over and attacks Kongo throwing him against the wall as the Horned Beetles gripped onto him, Kongo broke free before Beetlus stabbed him in the chest, with one quick blow Kongo smashes the giant beetle with his hammer, as Beetlus dies he said “You think you won? This is just the start, a Niko like you will never win!” As Beetlus dies a door opened, Kongo walked to the room and picked up what seems to be a Sun piece, and thus he collected his first sun piece a fragment of Sola
Greenica Dungeon (aftermath)
Kongo walks out of the dungeon with the sun piece and the necklace, both of the guards were surprised he survived, of course the first Guard paid the second guard 50 coins
Greenica Castle
The King couldn’t believe his eyes as Kongo walked back with the necklace and the sun piece the King said “H-How are you alive?” Then Sola said “Dad, it’s because I helped him” the King said “SOLA?! Where are you? What did Demoncus did to you?” Sola said “I’m fine and he put my soul in sun pieces, 6 in total, i’m having Kongo get them to get me back” Kongo didn’t know how to respond but said “I have the first piece here” he then shows the King the sun Piece the King began to beg to Kongo “Please get my daughter back! I’ll do anything if you get her back!” Kongo then said “Alright, i’ll do it but only if you stop killing Greenics and abusing them” the King said “yes yes right away!” after the King ordered the guards to return the Greenics back to their village he then lead Kongo to the boat and grants him all the essentials he needs and sets him on a quest of a life time
