This was just a spur-of-the-moment idea I had the other day when looking at my old art. As my name and early work indicates, the Sonic "style" (particularly Sonic Adventure/Sonic Archie) is in my blood, and I have a box full of old Sonic fanart sketches that I drew before branching out into my own style. I thought it would be fun to return to that style just to see how it would go, while implementing a Sonic Generations-esque "Classic"/"Modern" gimmick to show the changes my first OC, Cassandra, has undergone under the past 19 years. "Classic" Cassandra is an amalgam of my 2003-2005 pictures of her. It's kinda surreal seeing her resurrected in in 2022 in a quasi-Mobian style, but it also gives me a warm, comfy feeling. It feels like a good approximation of how I wanted her to look like back then.

I also had a lot of fun making the background. I was just using built-in shapes in Clip Studio and manipulating them around to create graphics like what Sonic Generations uses.
