Bit of a long story about this piece, so I'll try to parse it down so you're not in for a long read.

Last year when I was still slaving at ELOQUII, I was experiencing breast pain and found a lump. What ensued was months of back and forth and waiting to get a mammogram. And then getting mammograms and cancelled biopsies and more opinions and more mammograms. By the end of it, all I got was no care and no consideration for my feelings, family history, or very real fears.

I was told to ignore it. To wait six months until it potentially became something and then they would do something about it. Maybe.

I continue to sit here with the dull ache and knowledge that something is in there and nobody is doing anything to find out why.
