There are many different universes, and in them, myriad tales to be told. Many share similarities to one another, serving as paths splitting off like branches from a tree. Here, we observe one such branch, split off from a singular universe, given depth and form as it has been allowed to grow and become stronger. This universe has many tales yet to be told, many yet to be written. Many ways that its future can unfold as those within it living their lives forge their own paths and chart their own destinies.

But amongst all these tales that can be told, there are some we shall pay the most attention to. It is that which ties all of these stories together.

These are the Tales of Monster City, and its denizens.

And finally, the timeline is finished! For now anyways. Here it is at last, the Reboot for my Undertale AU, Tales of Monster City. This time, I've spent much more time figuring things out, sorting out ideas, and forming a better foundation with which to work from and build upon when it comes to crafting this Alternate Universe. Before, I started off from a premise that in hindsight, I found to be both flawed and, if I'm being honest, a bit too inspired by a story device from a misanthropic series of MLP FIM stories that I'm not terribly fond of. This one I think, has much more promise to it, especially given I feel I can tell many more interesting stories by including Humans in it.

Any of those who have read some of my stories (or have at least read the backstory document I originally wrote for my own goat monster fursona) will note quite a few differences, but some folks will also notice some things that aren't too different. There were quite a few things I wanted to keep around in the timeline, even as I chucked some other things and came up with quite a bit more.

Some of you will also notice down in the keywords that Undertale is not the only franchise mentioned. That is because, technically, and only to mostly minor extents, this is also a crossover with at least three other universes. One is Kingdom Hearts (due to my inclusion of the Master of Masters) and the other is Vilous (the one from which Sergals, Agudners, Nevreans, and Talyxians all come from). There is also a crossover into the universe that my bondmate  RoY7x has created for two of his own furry races. However, it is overall a primarily Undertale Alternate Universe and makes uses of Characters and concepts from it (with me drawing some additional inspiration from things like Final Fantasy XIV for magitek stuff and D&D for quite a bit of stuff involving Magic)

Anywho, with this I think I can in the near future begin working on more stories for the Timeline, and hopefully with this document giving a good rundown of much of the core and important details, folks will also be more drawn into the setting itself. I can only hope so anyways.
