A character I made for a D&D oneshot.
This is Hawley, a toonkind sorcerer and the eponymous star of the in-universe newspaper comic strip "Hawley's Follies". The wacky, widely syndicated adventures of Hawley and his partner Folly were abruptly cancelled, and his essence was left drifting in the ethereal realm. Decades later he materialized in the physical world, and now roams the land as a curiosity of sorts. With a fragmented memory, a burning desire to hunt down his creator, and a lingering belief that was he left to rot alone in the void he came from, he attempts to make sense of this strange new reality.
