“Oh, I had so much fun,” said Grace. “I’ve never danced with somebody so tall.”
“Did you see how everybody was looking at us?” asked Roy.
“They were just jealous,” laughed Grace. “The way you picked me up and tossed me, I felt like I could fly.”
Roy opened the car door for the small female. “We were the best couple on the dance floor,” he asserted as she climbed into the passenger seat. Roy shut the door and skipped around to the driver’s side of the car.
“That skunk couple were pretty good too,” said Grace as the bear slipped behind the wheel. “We were definitely the most unlikely pair out there.”
“That probably earned us a couple of looks too,” said Roy, “but I didn’t mind. Did you?”
“Not a bit,” said Grace as she patted the big bear’s arm.

Grace Allan is an ex-lover of my bear, Roy Carrara, whom she dated for a brief time in 1953. The story of their relationship is told in my book Roy: Between Marco & Tracy. Grace is a hard-working single mother who loves to dance. She is not opposed to a mixed-species relationship to fulfill her life and that of her young kit.
S00T did such a marvelous job showing the joyful exuberance of my vixen as Grace dances.

It really strikes me how similar to foxes maned wolves are. Recently in the last few years, there's a lot of memes in the furry community, that features jokes about the length of maned wolf legs, like these Telegram stickers (which I'm guilty of having). https://www.reddit.com/r/boottoobig.....me_maned_wolf/

Thank you kindly. So much of the credit goes to S00T for her interpretation of my character.
