This week's External Influence is the Reversed Kitsune. Kitsune, a Japanese word for fox, are intelligent, magical creatures who grow up to nine tails as they age as a sign of their increased intelligence and power. Some folklore states that they only gain a tail after the Kitsune has lived 100 years with the most common depictions including one, five, seven, or nine tails. Often depicted as loyal guardians, they gained a trickster's quality over time. Each Kitsune possesses the ability to shapeshift into human form of any gender. When this incredible being appears in an oracle reading as a Spirit Guide, it reveals a week of incredible power and transformation. As a Reversed Spirit Guide, the Kitsune comes to us as a sign of a week full of preparation. There is a massive burst of power and intellect waiting for you. Don't be afraid to settle in and work on grounding techniques in order to build a stable and safe foundation on which to grow. Keep your mind open and receptive so that you can see when your opportunity appears. Be wary of any false starts or offers, however, know that your chance is coming this week. Do your research, put in the hard work, and gather together the skills you have in order to make that transformation.
This week's Rune is Uruz. This rune is symbolized by the rain and the great Auroch, or European Ox. It is a rune of structure, formation, inner strength, and wisdom. It's strength lies in patterned force. It is the energy that takes the passionate life of the Fehu rune and knits it into the strong fabric of the world. Strength can be inflexible and unbending, keeping you from moving through obstacles. However, this strength can also aid you in holding strong in the face of fear and help you in rising above challenges. Uruz reminds us we are woven into the existence of nature and our strength, or our destruction, is shown in our environment. Uruz will help you create a structure to build a passionate, healthy life from. This is a rune to pull from when looking to heal, understand the self, or to bring together and realize your goals. Uruz is growth by overcoming obstacles. Assert yourself in the world positively in order to grow into a new life and new you. Remember to remain flexible so as not to break under pressure.
In the Internal Influence, we see the spirit guide Elk. This week will be a time of abundance. Allow yourself to indulge in more plant foods and to eat foods that promote energy and stamina. This week will show you to move with a regal, but humble manner. Recognize the ability, strength, and intelligence within yourself. Remember, however, that ignorance is not bad. Only that remaining ignorant is detrimental. It is ok to constantly learn. Engage in your intended areas of study with dignity and an open mind. Consider taking time to meditate. Connect with the energies within your environment as well as within yourself. There may be a spirit or divinity trying to communicate with you and meditation may allow you to recognize what signs are may be missing. Elk are also symbols of love. There may be an increase in romance, friendship, or family ties coming up for you this week. Show affection and care for those you find important. When the Elk spirit guide shows up, this is often a reminder to us to engage in recognizing and increasing our personal talents, skills, and spiritualism. Even if your environment may require you to be calm or causes you to feel like you need to hide what makes you unique, remember that you can always tap into your inner strength when you need it. Have respect for others and yourself. Hold dignity and wisdom with the importance they deserve as you work to increase your stamina.
