Same Old Bucky
With his children grown and living their own lives, Bucky in his old age has resigned himself to a peaceful simple life, though he admittedly finds it kinda boring at times and considers going back into space, hoping that the thrill of intergalactic travel will fill the void in his life.
His wife, Jane Doe👽, has also recently perfected time travel technology and it is revealed that elderly Bucky used it to go back in time and raise his infant self (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47521649/) until he was able to take care of himself in the forest he would spend his childhood.

***Shows Elderly Bucky taking care of Baby Bucky, bottle feeding him and spoon feeding him mush, and then tucking him into bed.
Fast forwards to a slightly older toddler Bucky being carried by Elderly Bucky to the place where he would spent his childhood,
“I honestly wish I could take you home and raise you as my own, but that’s just not possible, so instead I have to leave you here and hope that you gain the knowledge and experiences to become me someday. (Chuckles) It’s ironic, isn’t it? Without me, you couldn’t have made it to this point, and now it’s my turn to put my faith in you, little me.”
Puts him down gently in a bed of grass, and reluctantly turns to leave, “Live long, love with all your heart, and most important, be happy.”
And elderly Bucky then disappears, starting the cycle anew.***
