At 1st level, you gain the ability to occasionally sense the presence of the undead, whose existence is an insult to the natural cycle of life. As an action, you can open your awareness to magically detect undead. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any undead within 60 feet of you that isn't behind total cover and that isn't protected from divination magic. This sense doesn't tell you anything about a creature's capabilities or identity.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
As a Cleric of the Grave Lanya possesses an extraordinary sight that allows her to detect creatures of an Undead variety. Typically brainless and rambling from Zombies to ghouls they don't usually pose much of a threat. But there are of course more dangerous kinds of undead out in the world, but they're quite rare. When Lanya spotted another undead in her Divine Sight she did not expect what she found. It's unusual for a creature radiating the undead aura to be quite so well dressed but the undead are the undead and the quicker they are dispatched the better.
With her weapons at the ready she approached the strange undead and moved to strike. But when she got closer she happened to notice the Undead creature appeared to be a Lizardfolk. A well dressed one at that. Even though he appeared normal he still radiated the aura of the undead. Clearly a disguise of some sort. To which Lanya went to strike.
"WHOA WHOA THERE! FRIENDLY!" Cisero yelled.
"You speak with intelligence!?" Lanya replied, halting for the moment.
"Of course of course, I'm a lizard just like yourself." Cisero smirked
"Deceiver. As a Cleric of Kelemvor I see the Aura of what you really are." Lanya stated.
"A Cleric... oh shit. Listen lady, Parley ... Parley!" Cisero yelled, drawing his rapier.
"UNDEAD BE TURN--!" Lanya began to cast when suddenly a volley of playing cards were spat out in front of her and interrupting her concentration.
"PARLEY DAMNIT! I SAID PARLEY!" Cisero continued to yell, attempting to calm the cleric down.
