After a long absence, were back! With another gun picture! Havent had the time or "inspiration" to upload anything particular, nor have I had the interest in drawing anything for a long time, due to various things, but mainly a lack of interest, as drawing is just a hobby, not something I regularly do. Hopefully Ill get around to it again eventually, maybe even with some writing!
Either way, the gun is an airsoft replica of an AKMS by the producer LCT. Short bit about the real AKMS for those who might not know:
The AKMS is simply the folding stock version of the AKM rifle produced in the Soviet Union & many of its member & satellite states. Though technically phased out in favor of the AKS74, the AKMS kept seeing use with rear line units, who didnt get issued the newer rifle, or special units who perhaps favored the larger 7.62x39mm round & it being easier to suppress with a silencer/suppressor than the newer 5.45mm round. In fact, for a while there were no effective suppressors designed for the AK74 type rifles, so until one was devised, troops needing suppressed weapons were typically issued AKM/AKMS rifles.
To this day, the AKM/AKMS sees use all over the world, as many of the satellite states kept producing AKM rifles either for their own use, or export, such as Poland, Romania & Hungary. Many of these rifles are kept in storage for wartime reserves in various countries. Although old, theyre still effective combat rifles that no doubt will continue to be used all over for a very long time.
