Alright. slightly different setup today because we are out in the field. I am with Mac , Neil, Atubah Javed our botany specialist, and Minerva Doxon, who is here for our protection.
After the attack of the Giant Deel we decidet to set out and see if we can find out a bit more about those plants we where told about. Atubah mentioned that some plants might
cause aghressions or confusion in animals if ingested, and if this a plant that is not from around this area its more likely animals might accidentally ingest them. We´re accompanying her to try and see if
we can find any unusual plant matter or maybe any animal that act...oddly. since we are just a small crew with only one vehicle right now, we are not going far from camp and staying in near constant contact with
our base camp. Neil seemed the most relaxed to me, I think he´s happy he can finally fulfill his driving duties.
We made a first stop near a brook and where greeted by the harsh, angry sounding call of a pale eyed wingraptor. spottet the creature not too far from us, causing a ruckus and very clearly a little alarmed by our arrival.
its calls where echoed by its pack all around us which did create a somewhat tense atmosphere. They are on the smaller side as far as wingraptors go (about 3-ish feet in hight) and not overly aggressive, but a pack of them could
still become dangerous if agitated enough. Luckily, our buddy kept to screaming at us and did not escalate things further, and, when we decidet to press on, they followed us quite curiously but still way out of our reach in treebranches up above us.
eventually we lost our escort, but it was still fascinating to watch them monitor us.
Pale eyed Wingraptors are one of the most intelligent Wingraptors, which on themselves are a grop of animals that have been described to be quite brainy. they live in family packs which occasionally join up with others, then split up again , which causes a somewhat regular shift in pack members.
however, usually family members dont wander off too far from their original pack and have been reported ´visiting´ their old packs, often staying for a week or so and then leaving again. as you can see, they are incredibly social aniomals. they hunt in small parties of 3-4 members, often herding their prey into traps or dead ends. They have a clear hirachy in their packs and the leaders do not take kindly to anyone challanging them. Their eye spots seem to both be a ways of scaring away predators, as well as indicating how fit they are and their age. bonded pairs stay together for their entire life. If one partner dies, the other one usually will not try to find another partner again and instead help raise young of others from their pack. they are quite slender and fragile in comparisson to some of their cousins, and allthough they are dangerous carnivores themselves, they are still not at the top of the foodchain and quite skittish.
addendum:
we just got word that Mr. Clarke, who got injured in the Deel incident, is going to be picked up and brought home via a small aircraft some time tomorrow. even though we have some very high tier medical fascilities and very good medical doctors with us, it was decidet that it was best for him to be taken care of back home. over the past few days his cut has been getting steadily worse and infected. and while he is still in good spirits he did admit that it was not exactly pleasant and felt ´really odd´. so. of course sad to see him leave, but this seems to be the safest option .
Just...a small update on that situation.

Attention: because of tax regulatipns regarding VAT in Germany, I sadly have to ask for your address, or part of your address (country being the most important, PO box also works) and your name or initials, should you win the auction. This is not something I like to do, but sadly nescesarry, If you are unable to provide me with this information, which is understandable, I cannot sell to you and would thus ask you to not bid.
again. I dislike this as much as everyone else, but these are rules I have to stick to.
Once purchased, the character and pattern/design of this specific creature/character

-Use them as your own character, meaning giving any name, gender, or backstory you please.
-Alter the picture as you see fit
-resell or trade them, all though I would highly appreceate it if you would not resell them for more than you bought them.
