A speculative idea for the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet created by the talented @Elesteva076, where Pokémon will be able to transform into more primitive or futuristic forms.

For Ricky, he has managed to gain access to both, each powerfully dangerous in their own separate way:

Proto Ricky (Dark/Ghost type): Said to eat anything with a pulse that moves, this primitive savage is adorned in the bones and possibly even the blood of his victims, which has caused their vengeful spirits to accumulate around him. Rather than hinder him, Proto Ricky has somehow managed to combine their savage spirits with his own, creating a devastating new power, which along with his giant meat club (a tasty snack on the go as well as a painful bludgeoning tool), is not only able to physical cripple his foes, but saps them of their spirit and vitality as well.

Neo Ricky (Dark/Steel type): One of the most advanced and lethal Rubber Rocket creations yet to be achieved, this futuristic foe has been enhanced so that he now possess properties akin to living liquid steel rather than mere rubber. The new Neo model is designed to locate and absorb any target Pokémon (or person if they possess unique knowledge/skills) into his body, adding their abilities to his own. He can use multiple acquired abilities at once and his liquid steel skin can instantly harden upon impact, causing devastating injury to anyone foolish enough to try taking him on with brute force. The only observed weakness so far seems to be his visor, which upon impact has cracked, revealing one of his target acquiring eyes, but it’s no significant matter, and will quickly resolve itself momentarily.
