My sona as an American alligator; my favorite reptile and one of my favorite animals! It’s been a while since I last rendered a gator, and I got the idea for this while swimming in my pool the other day.
My sona isn’t a shapeshifter, but I do like to draw her/me as different animals every now and then. Gator!Samantha is definitely a “summer sona” in the way that the caribou version of myself I’ve drawn a couple times is the “winter version”. Personality-wise the Samanthas are all the same, though some of their mannerisms may be different depending on the environment they’re in/the animal they are. Gator!Sam is very kind and just wants to chill in the cool, murky water of the bayou, but can be as quick and deadly as her normal peregrine falcon self. You’ve been warned.
