Puss In Boots got humiliated by his tailed end!

The legend of Puss-In-Boots tells the adventures of a feline adventurer and his heroic deeds across the land. Anyone who has heard or seen of the orange cat know him to be a skilled swordsman with a proud nature. He is also a recurrent storyteller who loves to speak to everyone about his “unmatched greatness”. While there may be some truth to these tales, it would be no surprise to find exaggerations and omitted details when the story is self-told. However, even someone as prideful as Puss has stories that he keeps to himself. There is no doubt that he is a legendary hero…but even legends have bad days they do not want to talk about.

One of those unfortunate days takes place within the barren slums of a town. Almost every building within the forgotten district has been abandoned aside from the few houses that inhabited bandits and small gangs. The slums were a perfect place for anyone who needed to be hidden from the authorities. In Puss’ case, it was also the perfect place to get a drink in peace. Despite being a well-known hero, he was still partially a bounty hunter that could sometimes attract unwarranted attention. He was exhausted and felt that he deserved a breather for the night. From within the slums, he entered inside an empty tavern that he knew about. It was long abandoned by humans and was supposedly used by stray cats as a recreational spot. It seemed Puss was the only one inside tonight though, so he figured he would help himself to a glass of milk. The forgotten tavern was rather cold and dark due to the night, so he decided to start up the fireplace from within the building. However, it would soon become clear that he was not alone.

As Puss went over to the fireplace, he heard noises of movement in the darkness. Once the fire was set and brightened the room, he found himself surrounded by multiple alley cats sitting in various spots of the bar. They were a gang who took over the tavern as their territory, extorting any innocent cat who wandered nearby. They threatened Puss to either drop his belongings or be beaten up by the gang. Unsurprisingly, he confidently scoffed and drew his rapier as the multitude of alley cats charged in. The gang had the advantage in numbers, but their opponent was just a better fighter overall as he effortlessly dodged and countered. Although Puss had the upper hand, his overconfidence made him completely drop his guard to boast, giving one of the gang members an opening to attack from behind. The cat thug grabbed a large glass mug…and hurled it straight towards the back of Puss’ head, shattering upon impact and dazing him! The alley cats immediately took advantage, surrounded the stunned feline, and continuously beat him up with multiple punches into the gut! After some time passed, the alley cat gang eventually backed off as they watched Puss drop onto his knees and bend over with his tailed rear in the air, completely defeated.

Satisfied with their work, most of the alley cats relaxed for the rest of the night, watching their sleeping opponent shift around. Puss eventually woke up in the morning with the alley cats nowhere in sight. Although unharmed, his pride and honor had taken a literal beating. No matter how much he would try to hide it, the fact is…the legendary Puss-In-Boots was rendered unconscious in a humiliating pose, panting on a wooden floor for one fateful night.
