Compared to some of the other art in your gallery, this is a huge jump in quality. I am sorry you are going through tough times. If this creative talent quality jump is an indication of what comes out of it, you are getting a huge gift, so it is not all bad.

Lovely use of light and shadow as well to capture an early morning atmosphere. This picture tells a little story to me: it's early and he's already out of bed, nursing a cup and studying for something before he's even dressed. I started many a morning in college in much the same way...

Not that I looked anything like this fellow first thing in the morning haha! Beautiful anatomy and expression/body language in this. Why don't I just say that I like everything about this and call it good? ^_^
