With a super hot summer like this, playing outside can be taxing, even for energetic little kids like Sascha.
The best way to counter the heatwave is cool water.
That's why Sascha's step parents decided to take the whole family to the local water park.
Bouncing up and down in his seat, the little bearkitty couldn't sit still and was eagerly telling his plushie friend Sammy all about the different attractions there.
Of course the long-tailed lynx plushie wasn't exactly thrilled by it, but Sascha didn't really notice and just carried on.
As soon as they are arrived and found a nice shady spot, there wasn't really much stopping him.
He was told to wait to get a swim diaper on, after he got rid of his shirt and shorts... but he just grabbed Sammy and a purple swim ring for his beloved plushie and dashed off.
"Wait you little rascal..." called his Step mum behind him while getting Sascha's brother Kuraiko ready, but his step dad just laughed and shook his head.
"Just let him go. He'll be back once he burned off some energy."
Arriving at one of his favorite attractions at the water park, a set of arcs spraying cool water into the middle, Sascha gently placed down the swim ring and made sure that Sammy was sitting securly so he wouldn't fall into the shallow water.
After that he ran and dashed around in the playful, yet futile attempt to be fast enough and not get wet, laughing and giggling.
His soaked fur, hair and bandana however spoke a different language... and a slightly wet, very miffed looking plushie lynx, holding on for dear life on the swim ring.
What a wonderful commission by

Oh Man... kids. They just can't wait, can they?
But I think this little bearkitty is just having so much fun.

We had one in the wildlife park in my childhood. Used to visit it often with my parents and grandparents.
Last time I was there a few years ago, it's still there. Just got renovated. I'm happy for that, since other kids can still experience the fun that I had myself, almost 40 years ago.
